Baked Crispy and Spicy Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cauliflower florets
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 3 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (optional) or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  • The first step is to preheat the oven to 425° F. Add parchment paper to a sheet pan and set it aside. Alternatively, coat the sheet pan with a cooking spray or a little olive oil.
  • Whisk the arrowroot, garlic, almond flour, onion, salt, and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl. 
    ¼ cup almond flour, 3 tbsp arrowroot starch, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp baking powder
  • Add in the hot sauce and the coconut milk. 
    1 tsp hot sauce, ⅓ cup coconut milk
  • Mix well until combined.
  • Add the cauliflower florets into the mixture and toss to coat completely. 
    12 ounces cauliflower florets
  • Add the coated cauliflower florets to the baking sheet and place the sheet in the oven.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the cauliflower wings are golden brown and crisp. 
  • Remove from the oven and place into a large bowl. Add more hot sauce.
  • Stir well to coat the buffalo cauliflower wings from all sides.
  • Pair with your favorite sauce and enjoy!

Notes

Tips for Best Results
    • Don't overcrowd: Make sure cauliflower pieces have space on the baking sheet and don't overlap to achieve perfect crispiness!
    • Add more sauce: Dip these into spicy buffalo sauce or your favorite wing sauce. You can even make your own homemade buffalo sauce for flavor. 
    • Add garnish: Chopped parsley or cilantro will add a pop of color to the presentation.
