Ingredients

  • 1 hard or semi-hard round cheese cut into 3 circles
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls
  • 2-3 cheddar sandwich slices
  • 1 cup popcorn
  • 1 pack chocolate-covered sticks
  • 1 pomegranate seeded
  • 1 cup any crackers
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp caramel
  • 1/2 cup corn sticks
  • festive sprinkles 3 different kinds

Instructions

  • Using round bowls and glasses, cut out three circles of cheese of varying diameters. Arrange the three circles of cheese in the middle of a large cutting board to form a snowman
1 hard or semi-hard round cheese
  • Put the sprinkles, honey, and caramel into small bowls and place them in four areas surrounding the circle cheeses.
2 tbsp honey, festive sprinkles, 2 tbsp caramel
  • Use a star cookie cutter to cut star shapes from the cheddar cheese slices.
    2-3 cheddar sandwich slices
  • Place the blueberries and pomegranate seeds around the head of the snowman, add the cheese stars to resemble a starry sky.
    1 cup blueberries, 1 pomegranate
  • Use 2 blueberries for the eyes, pomegranate seeds for the mouth and cheese for the nose.
1 pomegranate, 1 cup blueberries, 2-3 cheddar sandwich slices
  • Place a piece of cracker on top of the snowman for the snowman's hat, and add two chocolate-covered pretzel sticks for the arms.
1 cup any crackers, 1 pack chocolate-covered sticks
  • Fill in the space on the board with the rest of the ingredients. Any ingredients that you have left can be added to any open areas of the board.
1 cup mozzarella balls, 1 cup popcorn, 1 cup marshmallows, 1/2 cup corn sticks
  • To achieve a bucket look, add halved chocolate-covered sticks on top of the hat cracker.
    1 pack chocolate-covered sticks

Notes

  • Rinse & Dry: Be sure to wash off the fruits to clean them well, and ensure they are dry before adding them to the board. Excess water will cause the cheese to become soggy, making it quite a messy look.
  • Cutting Board: Use a board made of nice wood, such as Acacia wood, for the presentation. The darker coloring of the board will help the lighter coloring of the cheeses stand out.
  • Prep in Advance: Some steps can be done in advance to save you time on the day of your party or event. Cleaning all the fruit to ensure it's ready to go is a step that can be done anytime. You can then store the clean fruit in a bowl covered with plastic wrap until you are ready to assemble.
